
The University of Pittsburgh Facial Nerve Course is a comprehensive educational course designed for senior level residents, fellows, and faculty who specialize in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery or head and neck surgery, as well as physical therapists and speech therapists who treat patients with facial nerve disorders. This full-day course is led by nationally recognized facial nerve experts and combines expert lectures, interactive panels, and a hands-on learning experience using cadaver dissections. This course is designed to enhance the participants’ understanding of the multidisciplinary treatment of complex facial nerve conditions and develop surgical technique for operative intervention.
