The Tracheoesophageal Voice Prosthesis (TEP) Clinic is for patients who are anticipating or who have undergone a Total Laryngectomy. Pre-operative counseling is available to those recommended a Total Laryngectomy, a surgery involving the removal of the voice box (larynx). After a Total Laryngectomy, patients work with a Speech-Language Pathologist to train and manage their chosen voice modality.
