Rachel L. Whelan, MD, is a faculty physician at the UPMC Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. A board-certified otolaryngologist with advanced training in sleep and pediatric otolaryngology, she specializes in treating sleep and breathing disorders in pediatric and adult patients.

With active roles in research, teaching, and clinical practice, Dr. Whelan focuses particularly on surgical treatment options for sleep-disordered breathing, including nasal, pharyngeal, and neurostimulation procedures.
