Dr. Nayel Khan is from Clemson, SC where he went to Clemson University. He then went to medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. After becoming interested in ENT, he spent a year during medical school in the lab of Dr. Duvvuri here at UPMC. During that time, he saw many examples of what made UPMC and Pittsburgh so special - from the academic excellence, the camaraderie of the residents, the support of the attendings to all the fun that Pittsburgh has to offer - which made the desire to come here for residency so strong. Him and his wife (a Heme/Onc fellow also here at UPMC) live in the Southside Slopes where they enjoy binging Netflix.
