While many factors can contribute to hearing loss, we know that patients who receive chemotherapy and radiation can contribute to hearing loss. Some survivors also experience tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and vertigo (dizziness). For many survivors, these symptoms can occur slowly years after treatment has ended. If left untreated, hearing loss can negatively impact your everyday life.

If you are concerned you may be experiencing hearing loss, you can call 412-647-2400 for a free hearing loss screening using your telephone.
